Transformation Tuesday highlights a significant upgrade at an investment property where safety and functionality took priority. The main staircase and basement stairs, once in disrepair with floating steps and inadequate support (basement stairs were supported by a metal baseball bat!), have now been expertly reconstructed. The new stairs meet safety standards and the main staircase is ready to add carpet.

1. Dark stains or streaks along the soffit or fascia boards

2. Peeling paint or bubbling finishes (sign of trapped moisture)

3. Soft, spongy, or crumbling wood when lightly pressed
