This was one of our clients that always came out w/ a big smile and loved to talk. He did love weed eating along side of us we just wanted to remember him may he rest in peace

There will be a “Celebration of Life” for long time Mariposa resident, James A. Wenzel, who passed away on August 15, 2016.
James was a proud “star athlete” of Mariposa’s Special Olympics team, the Mariposa Miners. He worked hard to make his coaches proud of him – which they always were. He worked for “Doc” Kanarowski for many years, boasting of the many jobs he did there. He also loved to help his friends weed-eating, splitting wood, cleaning and anything else they needed. James was a very special person and touched many lives. He will be truly missed.
Those who knew and loved James are invited to the event which will be held at the Mariposa County Park on Saturday, September 10th at 1:00pm. If you would like to, bring a finger food and a photo and story of James to share.
