We always start by giving equipment a good clean. Dirt and leaves can cause problems if left stuck in moving parts. It’s also smart to check for any visible wear or cracks, especially on hoses or fittings. Storing things in a dry, covered spot helps prevent rust and sun damage.

An old sand filter can really slow down pool care, especially during a hot Merced summer.

We came out to replace a worn-out filter system with a brand new Pentair Tagelus sand filter. After removing the old tank and cleaning up the area, we set up the new filter and reconnected all the lines for smooth water flow. It's always satisfying to see a fresh install ready to keep pool water clear and inviting.

If your pool equipment is showing its age, a filter upgrade makes a noticeable difference.

Heavy debris and low water flow can make any pool feel less inviting. We noticed the filter was overdue for a deep clean and the old cartridges just weren’t doing the job anymore.

After talking it through with the owner, we installed new cartridges and made sure the filter was spotless. Right away, the water started clearing up and the equipment could finally run smoothly again.

Sticking to a regular filter service keeps the whole pool system happy. If your pool doesn’t look or run quite right, it might be time for a filter check.

Late summer is the perfect time to give our pools and spas a little extra attention.
