Today's adventure; replacing one damaged piece of vinyl siding that was originally installed sometime in the middle of the last century.

Previous experience has shown that if you don't work very slowly, you can finish this little project by residing the whole house.

The flippers that did our house left us with this bathroom fan for a kitchen range hood, and it just vented right into the kitchen ceiling. We finally got around to replacing it for my girlfriend's birthday this year. I built this enclosure for the fan unit (Thanks to Ken and Denise!) now properly vented outside through the soffit.

It works; the bugs are trapped in here with us now!
