The state has released their statistics on fatal fires during the 2025 calendar year. We feel the most shocking statistic is that only 29% of fatal fires had working smoke detectors in their home. That means that nearly 70% of fatalities could have been prevented if smoke detectors were present in the home to alert the homeowners!
We are still offering free smoke detectors and CO detectors through a State funded program. Our full time staff will evaluate your needs and then install new detectors at no cost to you!
