This roof blistered and went bad in a few years because the builder divided the soffit from the rest of the roof. 3rd roof on this house since 2002. No air intake = no ventilation.

Too many roofs have poor ventilation!! Attic vent chutes are a vital part of the ventilation system. They allow air from the vented soffit to get past blown insulation and out near the roof peak.
