Tyler may have found the best bargain on the used lot.

We recently took in this 2026 Grasshopper 900D with a whopping ONE HOUR on the clock.

Yes, one.

The previous owner quickly realized it simply was not the right machine for his needs and ended up purchasing one of our machines instead. His change of plans could be a huge opportunity for somebody else.

Because this is still a seriously capable mower. You are looking at a diesel-powered Grasshopper 900D with a 72-inch deck, Tweels, an air-ride seat, and essentially no working time on it.

If this machine fits your acreage, property, or commercial mowing needs, you could save thousands compared with starting over with a new machine.

But a one-hour mower sitting on the used lot is probably not going to stay there forever.

A Lot of Backhoe for $34,500

Need a capable loader backhoe without the price tag of a new machine?

Central Iowa Farm Store has this 2006 Komatsu WB146 available with just 2,472 verified hours.

This machine gives you the versatility of a front loader and backhoe in one package, plus:
• 4WD
• Extend-a-hoe
• Rear hydraulic couplers
• Enclosed cab with heat
• 92 HP

The extend-a-hoe gives it a maximum listed digging depth of more than 18 feet, making this a versatile option for contractors, farms, acreage owners, municipalities, or anyone who needs one machine capable of handling a wide range of jobs.

It is a 20-year-old working machine, so there are a few items to be aware of. The A/C is not currently blowing cold, some cab seals could use attention, and there is a missing backhoe lock pin.

Take a look at all the photos online, give our sales team a call, or stop by Central Iowa Farm Store in Marshalltown and see it for yourself.

Small machine. A surprising amount of capability.

Tyler is showing off some Kubota U10-5 ultra-compact excavators at Central Iowa Farm Store, including new machines as well as a couple that were aging out of our rental fleet at the time we filmed this video.

That can make the used machines an especially interesting option for someone looking to put a U10-5 to work while saving some money.

These ultra-compact excavators are built for getting into tight areas while still giving operators the digging capability and features needed for landscaping, property work, construction, utilities, and other jobs.

But used rental-fleet equipment at the right price tends to move quickly.

If you are looking for a new or used Kubota U10-5, give Central Iowa Farm Store a call to find out what is currently available.

A little grease now can help prevent a much more expensive problem later.

Harvest has gotten off to a slow start with all this wet weather, which makes now a great time to go over your equipment and make sure you are stocked up before the fields dry out and you get back to work harvesting.

Regular greasing helps keep moving components properly lubricated and reduces unnecessary wear, but not every grease is the same. Trying to save a few dollars with the wrong product can potentially cost much more later in worn components, repairs, and downtime.

Central Iowa Farm Store carries the correct-spec greases and maintenance products for the equipment you depend on during harvest.

Use this weather driven downtime wisely. Stop by our Parts Department in Marshalltown and stock up now so you can hit the ground running when conditions improve.

During harvest, tractors, combines, and other farm equipment spend long days working in dusty conditions. A dirty or restricted air filter can reduce airflow, hurt performance, and make an engine work harder than it should.

With fuel representing a major operating expense, keeping up with simple maintenance like air-filter replacement is an easy item you do not want to overlook.

And with wet weather slowing the start of harvest, now is the perfect time to stock up on important parts. Get the filters and maintenance supplies you need today so you are not making a parts run when the fields finally dry out.

Stop by the Central Iowa Farm Store Parts Department in Marshalltown and let our team help you find the correct filters for your equipment.
