The lush colors and silver foil accents on the All Wrapped Up DSP are so pretty! What looks like white sprigs on the green background are actually silver.

Did you notice the fancy edge on the white rectangle piece? That's made with the new Tile Garden Dies. They are nesting square dies, with three different edge designs, just like the uber-popular Spotlight on Nature dies that have the same three edge details but in circle shapes. The rectangle shape is made by partially die-cutting your square, moving the die, and then partially cutting from the other direction to meet the original cut.

I love this card by Judy May! I love the combination of the plaid DSP with the fine plaid texture of the Softly Woven Embossing Folder in the background. The plaid DSP has slightly shiny finish and fine silver foiling to add a special touch.

And the poinsettia is awesome with the deep texture in the veining of the petals.
The extra dimension on the poinsettia is achieved with a 2-step process of diecutting and embossing with Impressions Dies. After diecutting, they are run through a second time with an Impressions Plate which is more like a piece of silicon than a hard plate. You don't NEED to do that second run through your die cutting machine with the Impressions Plate, but the effect is amazing when you do! You can see the contrast with the Peaceful Pine leaves that show the veins but don’t have the ‘puffed’ look of the petals.
