Big machines for big jobs! 🏗️🚛🏫 Tree care on school grounds calls for precision, safety and the right machinery.
Our crew recently finished up at John Swett Elementary School, bringing out three of our heavy hitters: our 40-ton crane, Rearmount Aerial Lift, and Grapple Truck.
In the reel: You’ll see our 40-ton crane safely lifting our climber directly into the tree canopy. Per OSHA guidelines, using a crane to hoist is permitted (and often the safest method) when standard access methods like ladders or climbing present higher safety risks due to tree stability, layout, or surrounding structures.
Combining the extended reach of the rearmount lift with the heavy lifting power of the 40-ton crane allowed our climbers and operatirs to lift out large, heavy limbs with complete control.
Zero impact on surrounding buildings, play structures, or campus turf.
