Ecomulch

Since 2006, our family-run business has been proud purveyors of thoughtfully-sourced, eco-friendly mulch.

This company was founded to re-purpose the woody materials that our parent company, Hamilton Tree Service Inc., was generating and sending to the landfill. We have designed a product that is environmentally preferable and ecologically friendly; all of our materials are derived from local tree and landscape companies and are processed right here in the San Francisco bay area (Martinez).

Building healthy soil together in Pittsburg! 🌿

We were thrilled to support our friends at Sustainable Contra Costa (Sustainable Contra Costa ) for a hands-on sheet mulching workshop at Marina Walk Park (65 Devito Street)!

To help bring this incredible project to life, we donated our Large Natural “Urban Walk-On” mulch. Sheet mulching is one of the best way to naturally suppress weeds, save water, and our rugged Walk-On texture is built to lock in place and handle park foot traffic with ease.

Huge thanks to Sustainable Contra Costa and all the hardworking volunteers who came out to learn, dig in, and make Marina Walk Park even more beautiful and sustainable for the Pittsburg community. 💚
