🚫 One of the biggest mistakes we see in landscape beds is w**d barrier fabric under mulch.

It sounds like a good idea, but over time mulch breaks down on top of the fabric, creating the perfect environment for w**ds to grow. Eventually roots grow through the fabric, making it difficult and messy to remove.

Our recommendation: Skip the fabric and install a healthy 3-4” layer of mulch instead. Mulch naturally helps suppress w**ds and improves soil health as it breaks down over time.

One of my favorite recent projects. It was challenging trying to fit everything this customer wanted into such a tight area, but we were able to make it happen!

Paver patio and walkway, flagstone steps, zoysia sod, small wall, and fire pit area made of cobble edging and pea gravel.

Turned out great!

Another testimonial with a great client ✅👍🏻

When they purchased the house, it had a fence closing off the middle of their yard and making a lot of the space unusable. They have 3 young kids that are very active and play sports in the yard.

We removed the old fence to open up the space and regraded the area with new Bermuda sod. We also ripped out old shrubbery and updated the area with new bushes and new trees.

To keep the sports contained to their own yard, we added a new privacy fence with a landscaped bed of shrubs and added an ornamental metal fence along the driveway for curb appeal.

While out there, we discovered a drainage issue they were having with pooling water and were able to add a catch basin and dry creek bed.

Hello everyone! I wanted to take a second to re-introduce myself since we are moving back home. My name is Hunter Erickson and I own and operate Green Relief Landscaping. We proudly service the Northwest Georgia and Chattanooga areas.

I was born and raised in Ringgold, GA and graduated from Heritage High School in 2016 where I met my beautiful wife. I later attended the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega where I graduated with a Business-Entrepreneurship degree in 2020.

We moved away to Augusta, GA in 2022 for my wife to finish up her education. I briefly worked in the commercial construction field learning various project management skills while I started my landscaping business during nights and weekends.

I met and learned from many mentors, suppliers and friends in the Augusta area, but I am excited to be back home and setting up roots with my family in the mountains. My goal is to create beautiful and long-lasting landscaping and outdoor living spaces that reflect our regions natural beauty.
