Time to shine a little light on two members of Team NEC!

Help us wish Austin Cato and Brian Lambert very happy birthdays this week!

We hope you both have fantastic birthdays. Thank you for all you do for NEC and the customers we serve

This week, Team NEC demonstrated the kind of support that grows from a culture where people are valued, respected, and empowered to show up for one another.

That kind of unity grows from a culture where people know they matter, where leaders invest in their team, and where faith, trust, and doing what's right are more than words on a wall.

This Bosses Day, we're proud to recognize Chris N Terra Newsome for the culture they have built and continue to nurture at NEC. They lead with the belief that a company's greatest strength isn't simply the work it can take on, but the people behind it, and their willingness to stand together when it counts.

Thank you for putting people first and leading by the values you live. Team NEC is better because of it. Happy Bosses Day!

Today we joined Bridge Builder Communities at its ribbon cutting ceremony marking Augusta's first tiny home community specifically built for youth aging out of the foster care system. The event marked more than the opening of a new project; it reflected what’s possible when a community comes together with a shared purpose to change lives.

Team NEC is proud to have played a small part in a vision with such a powerful purpose. We are honored to have contributed to an effort led by Jackson Drumgoole II and others committed to giving young adults more than a home, but also a foundation for what’s possible.

Congratulations Bridge Builders - you did it!!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but today, is Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day.

Yesterday, Team NEC stood together for one of our own, Jo Tuesley Uhles, reminding her that as she fights, she’ll never stand alone.

As we stand with Jo, we also recognize every life touched by cancer — those fighting, those living beyond a diagnosis, and those forever missed.

Thanks to BigMikesGrillShack for the delicious breakfast!

Did you know the LED is Nobel Prize-winning technology?

In 2014, three scientists won the Nobel Prize in Physics for developing the efficient blue LED—a breakthrough that helped make today’s bright, energy-saving white LEDs possible.

At NEC, we put that technology to work every day helping power up businesses with smarter, more efficient, lower cost lighting solutions and we think the results are stunning!

So, as we celebrate remember next time you flip the switch you’re putting a Nobel Prize winning innovation to work.
