🚧 NOW HIRING: Safety & Compliance Manager 🚧
📍 Martinsburg, WV
🧨 Local Excavating & Sitework Company working within a 50-mile radius of WV's Eastern Panhandle

Gantt’s Excavating + Contracting is looking for a Safety & Compliance Manager to help lead and strengthen our safety culture across the company. This position will oversee:
✅ OSHA and jobsite safety compliance
✅ DOT and fleet compliance
✅ Toolbox talks and safety training
✅ Incident reporting and follow-up
✅ Safety documentation and recordkeeping
✅ General risk prevention and regulatory support

Experience is strongly preferred, especially in construction, excavation, trucking, DOT, or heavy equipment environments.
With that said, we are also open to training the right person who has:
🔨 Strong leadership skills
🔨 Excellent organization and follow-through
🔨 Ability to communicate well with field crews
🔨 Genuine passion for keeping people safe
🔨 Willingness to learn compliance, regulations, and reporting requirements

Green spaces like parks are vital infrastructure that have been proven to boost physical and mental health, enhance environmental quality, and foster community spirit and vibrancy.

Gantt's Excavating is finishing up work at Jefferson Memorial Park, an 11.6-acre public park in Charles Town. Jefferson Memorial features two playground spaces, a hard-surface walking trail, three tennis courts, two basketball courts, four pavilions, a Veteran’s memorial, and an outdoor public swimming pool – the only one in Jefferson County.

Improving our region, every day, is what our company is all about. We love playing our small part! Parks give us free, accessible spaces for exercise, and they boost local economies by increasing property values and attracting tourists.

With Cinco de Mayo fast approaching, Gantt's Excavating has some fun news to share...

Did you know that our area is getting a new, second location for an old favorite place to eat? Las Trancas Mexican Restaurant offers a casual, family-friendly atmosphere and classic Mexican fare and cocktails — plus lunch deals — in the North End Plaza on Foxcroft Avenue in Martinsburg.

Soon it will also have a space near The Commons.
