Out with the tub module and in with a shower. Client needed to remove the tub for his wife to be able to step into the shower due to mobility concerns. Lowered handheld shower and grab bars will make it easier for her to use and access the shower safely. A little bit of tile to protect the upper walls and jazz it up a bit.

Quick house entry stair rebuild. I have done several of these over the years. Adding one step reduces the riser height and makes it much easier for elderly folks and those with injuries, limited mobility, etc. Having proper handrails adds to the safety of climbing the stairs with the ability to grasp it rather than trying to hold on to a typical 2x4 rail.

This will be an incomplete post of this job. I dropped the ball and never took any finished photos. But these show the extent of the repair work needed in this home before a complete repaint. Lots of nail pops and cracked corner bead. Unfortunately the usual poor drywall work that I see so often today. The job was performed in three stages to minimize the disruption of the home for the homeowner.

Lots of various projects on a lakefront home. Replaced all the wood ceiling and installed LED ceiling lighting in the kitchen and dining room. Installed under cabinet lighting. Patched and repaired walls then painted. Multiple drywall repairs and repaints. Awesome client who is planning more work for me.

Cedar sauna repair and rebuild. Sealed all the old walls to mitigate any odors then overlayed new cedar. Cleaned and oxalic acid treatment to the benches, heater surround and door. Lots of sanding afterwards and now as good as new.

A master bedroom and bathroom renovation for good friends from Boy Scouts. Modernizing the bathroom with new cabinets, shower, etc. Bedroom and walk in closet also were repaired, painted, and upgraded. A warm vinyl plank flooring was then installed throughout.

Utilizing the cabinets removed from the previous kitchen renovation into a needed upgrade. Wall removals, wall additions, popcorn ceiling removal, etc etc made this into a much more usable and practical space. Converting the island into one continuous countertop created much more usable space for her. The cabinets worked out fantastic. I was able to integrate all the cabinets into the space except one. That usually doesn’t happen when designing with used cabinets.
The shorter cabinets, wall not continuing to ceiling, etc are the before shots. Then the hickory cabinets and white countertops. I was also able to repurpose the Corian countertops from the previous kitchen and then install laminate on the island to coordinate with the Corian as best as possible.
