Out working on several cleanups today. Noticed a lot of green starting to poke through. Last year we started mowing on April 3. This years cooler weather might put mowing back a few days. Any thoughts?

Wonder what all those brown, stressed areas are in this lawn. It not a lack of moisture. It's a lawn disease. With all the rain we have had this year combined with high humidity it is the perfect conditions for your nice lawn to be targeted. Bluegrass and rye blends seem to be the most at risk this year.
Most lawns do recover once the humidity levels drop in the fall. Severe cases should be over seeded with a more disease resistant grass seed.

We are gearing up for another great season. Nice to start seeing some nice green grass growing.
