This polished concrete river flows through the Michigan State University Student Recreation Center—and we were excited to be part of bringing it to life.

The second photo shows one of our crew members using the burnisher—the final step that helps bring out that beautiful finish. Every step matters, and this is where all the hard work really starts to shine.

Here, we're exposing a Class C (large aggregate) finish before polishing. Our machines handle the open areas with precision, while the tighter spaces are carefully hand-ground to create a seamless, uniform look from wall to wall.

It's the extra effort that separates a good floor from a great one.
