🧪✨ A little less noise in the shop tonight.

No planer, router or drill presses this time. Just a little sanding, a couple of new boards, and some fresh epoxy pours.

The best part? Watching the epoxy do its thing. The time-lapse really shows the chemical reaction at work as it heats up and flows. It’s one of those parts that never gets old.

A few pours tonight, and a little science experiment mixed in with the sawdust. 😎

🪵💨 Wood chips were flying tonight!

Put the Forstner bit to work hogging out some serious material. Cherry, Padauk, and a little Yellowheart all took a turn on the drill press tonight.

There’s something satisfying about watching a pile of wood shavings grow while these pieces start taking shape. Every hole drilled is one step closer to the finished product.

Sometimes woodworking is all about the details. Sometimes it’s just making a mess. Tonight was a little of both. 😄

🌿 We’re set up at The Reserve at Dancing Elk Ranch! 🌿

❤️ From rough walnut to finished pieces. ❤️

There’s something special about the moment the oil hits the wood and the grain comes alive.

These walnut Romeo and Juliet boards, heart cutting board and heart trays started as rough-cut blanks and are now showing off all the character that was hidden inside. Every curve, every grain line, and every heart-shaped detail got a little attention this week.

Getting these ready for Sunday’s event and I’m pretty happy with how they’re turning out.

🌰 Walnut Wednesday! 🌰

The shop was full of walnut today.

I’ve been working on a collection of heart-shaped boards, trays, and keepsake pieces that are getting ready for this Sunday’s event. There’s still plenty of sanding, shaping, and finishing ahead, but it’s always exciting to see these projects start coming to life.
I can’t wait to see how these turn out once the oil hits the grain. ❤️

Wrapped up this custom serving board tonight and this one turned out wild. 🪵💙✨

Olive wood paired with deep blue to light blue epoxy gave this piece a stained-glass kind of look once everything came together. From scattered pieces and pours to the final finish. Definitely one of those projects that looks completely different at every stage. 🎥🔥

Trim bits & round overs & rabbets, oh my!!😳 It was that kind of night in the shop. 🪵⚙️

Got a big stack of Drink Shields moving through production and captured some slow motion and time-lapse clips along the way.

A little router noise, a lot of sawdust, and a late night in the shop.
