This client had an unusable space under and around their deck that was a prime pool side location. The area was dark and damp, so we installed artificial turf to soften the area and reduce dampness.

Failing retaining walls were replaced with matching block found on site, and we installed underground piping and a drain box from the gutters to divert rain water away from the area.

This client has a big front yard for the kids to play in and wanted to create a comfortable patio space to watch them. The nook between the front door and the garage provides the perfect afternoon shade we were looking for. We installed new drainage underneath the patio to keep it dry, and added an irrigation system with deer resistant foundation planting as well as accent lighting so it looks great at night.

The Reames Relic Altar, Serenity Garden, 2021. Reclaimed Stained glass window, Mountain Mist Flagstone, Rainbow Sandstone

Patrick Reames bought several stained glass windows that were once part of a Kings Mountain church which Pat had installed in his home. One remaining panel had been stored for 30 years. This remaining stained glass window became the center of the altar, framed by mountain mist stackstone, with a rainbow sandstone bench.

Designed by Gray Edgerton from and built by Gray Edgerton and Ransom Edgerton.
