New landscaping coming in hot, and we're not saying it's revenge for the great tree-pocalypse of 2023, but seriously two years after a ginormous tree decided to become part of the house, it's finally restored to its former glory. We swapped out the ancient oak for a sassy new ginkgo tree to keep things anchored around here. Bring on the growth spurt, summer, we're ready.

What a total makeover we pulled off here.

The driveway was so narrow, only a Mini Cooper could squeeze through. We built a tiny retaining wall using our mini beam stones to expand the driveway and redirect water around it, because ice, ice, baby, is no match for us. No more slipping and sliding into the neighbor's yard come winter.

We redefined the front yard beds to fit more plants for the new owners, and ringed the trees with natural stone to give them a fancy new collar. And, because trees were taking over, we took a few down to let the sunshine in and the grass grow, all while saving the house from becoming an arboreal casualty.

We like big boulders and we cannot lie. You other brothers can’t deny.

These giant boulders make a great option for a retaining wall. Before the water was coming down this hill and into the house. A previous drain tile system was put in but was not able to keep up. This wall and swell option diverts the storm water away from the house without the need for an underground tile drain.
