Adding equipment to a facility takes work behind the scenes, and getting the electrical connections ready is part of bringing it all together. Kaleb is pictured here working on the electrical panels as our crew put the finishing touches on the new ACE Hardware store in Mauston. There’s plenty happening behind the scenes before a store opens its doors, and these photos give us a chance to recognize the people doing that work.

Our crew teamed up with Zeman Towing and Crane to replace the emergency generator for the City of Mauston. These photos show the old unit being removed and the new generator being lifted and set in place, with Zeman providing the heavy lifting along the way.

During Energy Awareness Month, this project is a reminder that planning for power outages is part of taking care of our community. We’re proud to help the City update its emergency backup power and appreciate Zeman’s help getting the generators moved.

Before the new ACE Hardware store in Mauston opened its doors, our crew was outside trenching to bring electrical power to the propane fill station. Carver and Kaleb are pictured working with the trencher, and our Youth Apprentice, Dylan, paused for a photo at the station area.

Projects like this give Dylan an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn how the different parts of an electrical job come together. We’re glad to have him learning the trade alongside our crew and appreciate everyone’s work getting this project ready.
