As we head into the first full week of November, we’re hoping all of our customers, neighbors, and friends are safe and doing well after the rain and flooding around Arizona. 💙

🍂 Sunday Funday—and hello, November! 🏈☕

Time to turn the clocks back… oh wait, we’re in Arizona. We’re leaving those alone. 😂🌵

But those Zoom meetings with people in states that change their clocks? Their meeting may stay at the same time for them while shifting an hour for us. Double-check those calendar invites before Monday! 💻😅

We leave our clocks alone and change our schedules instead. 🤷‍♀️😂

Another busy week of taking care of our customers, getting projects done, and keeping things flowing—and our crew is finishing strong!

Now we’re getting ready to trade the tools for treats and enjoy some family time for Halloween tomorrow. 🍬👻

🔧 Capturing behind the scenes at Manor Plumbing… the real challenge isn’t plumbing. It’s getting the guys on camera. 😂📸

All the marketing companies say, “Show your team actually working! Make videos!”

Meanwhile, our technicians take photos to document the job—not to help the office lady become a social media director. 😅

💧 What to Know Wednesday: Water Wise

Using less water doesn’t have to mean settling for poor water pressure.

When replacing a toilet, faucet, or showerhead, look for the WaterSense label. WaterSense-labeled fixtures are designed to use less water while still meeting performance standards.

Upgrading older plumbing fixtures can help reduce everyday water use without asking your family to change its routine.

Before assuming a low-flow fixture is responsible for weak water pressure, have the plumbing checked. Mineral buildup, a clogged cartridge, a failing pressure regulator, or another plumbing issue may be restricting the flow.

The right fixture—properly installed—can conserve water and still provide the performance your home needs.

🔧 Tuesday Tip: Know where your sewer cleanouts are—and keep them accessible! 🏠

A sewer cleanout gives your plumber access to the drain line to help locate and clear a blockage. When the whole house is backed up, finding it shouldn’t be a scavenger hunt! 🔍😅

Cleanout caps can be black, white, or even have a nickel/silver-colored finish. They don’t all look the same!

✅ Know where your cleanouts are located.
✅ Keep caps visible and clear of dirt, landscaping, and stored items.
✅ Leave room for your plumber and drain-cleaning equipment to reach them.

Removing a toilet or a sink’s P-trap isn’t always a suitable way to reach or clear the blockage—especially when the backup affects the entire home.

Accessible cleanouts can also help save time and money. If your plumber charges by the hour, searching for a buried cleanout may increase your bill. Additional work—such as augering a toilet or removing and resetting it—may carry separate charges, depending on the company’s pricing.

A little preparation now can make a frustrating backup easier to tackle! 💧

💪 Monday Strong—the last Monday of October! ☕🔧

We had a full week planned, starting with a main line leak repair… then an emergency backup joined the schedule today. Apparently, the plumbing didn’t check our calendar. 😂💦

One line won’t stop flowing, another won’t flow at all—and our crew is ready to get both sorted out! 🚧🙌

Here’s to strong coffee, dry socks, and taking care of our customers. Let’s finish October strong! 💙
