Here are some before and after pictures of a small rural cemetery here in DeKalb County that had been a bit neglected. Several headstones and markers were uncovered and exposed once again. I am sure there are more as there are many graves that can be noticed but no visible head stones or markers. We will continue to keep this place cleaned up and maintained all summer long.

The oldest death date that I could make out was sometime in 1861. Many of the headstones are weathered and not legible. It’s a neat place and looks great once it was cleaned up.

There is a mower in a couple of these pictures, you just can’t see it well behind all the tall grass!

These Mulberry Trees can be such a pain but with a little bit of work they have been removed and the stumps treated to ensure to keep them at bay!

Today we finished up the tree removal at the cemetery! The extra hands were much appreciated and fun to work with! Boss has got the big mower rolling to get everything looking good for the 4th of July! 🇺🇸

Check out these before and after pictures from today’s long day at work! Trees and bushes removed, stumps treated and everything hauled off! Still have a little clean up to do but things are looking a lot better!

PSA: we often get questions about vines growing up trees or in this case covering a head stone. Many would be quick to call this vine Poison Ivy but it is not. This is Virginia Creeper. Good rule of thumb; leaves of 3 let it be, leaves of 5 pull it out before it takes over 😂

Poison Ivy can still be killed or controlled with chemical application! We have what you need if you are having some issues with Poison Ivy!
