Position: Full-Time Bookkeeper/Secretary
Industry: Construction
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
This is a dual-role position requiring both bookkeeping and administrative support in a fast-paced construction office. The successful candidate will ensure smooth project and office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping Duties:
Maintain accurate financial records
Manage A/P and A/R, bank deposits, payroll, and reconciliations
Generate financial reports and track project budgets
Administrative Duties:
Serve as point of contact for clients/vendors
Manage calendar, schedule meetings, handle correspondence
Maintain filing systems and order supplies
Support project documentation and team coordination
Qualifications
3+ years’ bookkeeping experience (construction industry preferred)
Strong secretarial/admin background
Skilled in QuickBooks, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication, organization, and time management
Discretion with sensitive info
High school diploma or equivalent required
