The name change is now official! We are no longer going by VG Handyman but instead VG Contracting as I have been a licensed WI Dwelling Contractor holder for about a year!

-What does this mean? Do you still do smaller jobs?

Yes! I will still do smaller jobs I'm not just moving onto big jobs. It's just a more professional look for the business, but I will gladly still perform bath remodels and lists of small tasks for whoever may need help!

I can't thank all of my friends, family and loyal customers throughout the years enough for your support and continued recommendations which help me keep doing this. It means so much to me and I will always be so grateful for each and every one of you!

Finished this staircase last week. Red oak treads, risers, and handrail with custom handmade oak spacers and each screw hole filled with plugs on the handrail and guardrail. The laminate glass guardrail really opened up this space for more light to come through. This job was one of my favorite as it really makes that critical thinking part of my brain kick in. I love this trade and the challenging work it offers because when it’s all done I get to admire the beautiful results. Huge thanks to Josh Dykstra with J.D. Construction for helping me with the treads and risers!

Total bathroom remodel! This was my first project I’ve ever done where I assume the title of general contractor. I learned a lot from it! Through all the hiccups I am positive the next one will be smoother. Every journey starts somewhere! Homeowner said she feels like she’s walking into a spa every time she goes in her bathroom now and I am happy we achieved a dream bathroom for her!
