It's late October in the Valley, so why does the house still feel hot? 🥵🍂

Part of it is the sun angle. In fall and winter the sun sits lower in the sky, so it can reach deeper into south-facing windows. And the RGV sun doesn't take the fall off. Phifer Suntex 80 solar screens block about 80% of the heat, Suntex 90 about 90%, and Suntex 95 about 95%.

Let's clear a few things up, Valley! We hear these solar screen myths all the time. 🙅‍♂️

Myth: they make the house dark. You still see out, and the glare is gone. Myth: they're only for summer. The RGV sun is out all year. Myth: tint is the same thing. Screens stop the heat outside, before it hits the glass. And no, install doesn't take days. Most take under 2 hours. ⏱️
