Hawthorn had taken over this property that belongs to some great customers and friends.
20 years of growth without management had led to unusable space and frustration.

20 hours of machine time led to usable open corridors along the creek, defensible space below the house and TWO HAPPY CUSTOMERS!!!

The next step on this property will be to go through with the excavator and forestry rake to clear debris from the creek. 🪵

Two massive double-top, blow-downs from a storm we had a couple weeks ago. Luckily there wasn’t any serious damage to the garage.

2 days, roughly 3 acres of brush reduced down to almost nothing! Certain areas of this project were so rocky we weren’t able to cut it as close to the ground as we usually do but the customer was left happy and very impressed by the production and man hours saved!

Cleanliness is close to godliness in this line of work. 3-4 times a season I bring this beast home to deep clean it and inspect hydraulic lines. Knocking down the risk of mechanical fires and the spreading of weeds. ✅

This time it was also time for a new set of blades!😬

Two days on this fire break, lots of brush over 20ft tall, reduced down to stop a potential updraft if things get spicy this fire season! i’m still very impressed with how many rotten stumps and logs this “brush hog” will eat up in a single day.

The videos don’t do it justice but sections of this cut were so steep it was questionable making turns, some were specifically down and back cuts! Loving my Job!

If anyone knows how to add music the you want specific to video and not just the generic Facebook supplied tunes let me know!
