Our client said, "Have any ideas for this fireplace?" and I said, "I sure do!". After a whitewash finish on the brick, I built a new mantel to install over the shallow concrete mantel, installed crown molding and finished it with a stain on the hearth! Fun project to add to this rather large paint project!
