We are out in Island Lake getting ready to stain this deck, but first came the most important step: a thorough soft wash! A weathered, gray deck full of mold, mildew, and dirt simply won't absorb stain properly. Soft washing sanitizes the wood, kills off all the organic growth, and cleans deep into the pores without damaging or splintering the wood. Now that the surface is clean and sanitized, it’s ready to absorb our fresh stain coat perfectly! 🏡☀️
