Over the past year poor drainage and lack of sunlight have left this client with very little grass growth. As you can see in the left hand picture, it left this portion of the property looking unfinished.

After assessing the situation, I determined that adding a dry river bed would help with drainage. When it came to determining which product would best suit this particular area, zoysia sod was the obvious choice. Zoysia sod is shade tolerant and will thrive in this area.

We are installing 189 feet of Retaining wall because this customer was having problems with erosion next to their house....

We are installing 189 feet of Retaining wall because this customer was having problems with erosion next to their house. Every major rain the water would wash the dirt out and all over the sidewalk. We are using these massive 6’x6’ chop stone dry stacked. These types of walls takes some time because every joint is hand cut for a tight fit. We are finishing it off with gravel behind the wall for proper drainage and to help stabilize the wall.

Some of the after pictures from the HOA we did here in McKinney. We went low maintenance in this area so that the HOA would not have to spend money on upkeep. So I came up with this simple but clean look. We used 4400 winter creepers, 8,200 pounds for boulders and 6 tons of river rock.
