Dear Watersoft Customers,

With winter weather in our forecast we know everyone is a little nervous. We want to provide you with some tips on how better to prepare for this. As long as you have power, please make sure your equipment is on and running at all times. The most important thing to prevent equipment from freezing is keeping it running. If for some reason you do lose power, you will need to take all drain plugs(filter, pool pumps, water feature pump, booster pump, and heater). It could require pliers, a screwdriver, or channel locks depending on what part it is. It’s also important to turn off the main power switch during this time to prevent further damage when the power turns back on. If you have any questions on what or how to do things, please feel free to give us a call and we can guide you through.
Warning: PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY ELECTRIC BLANKETS, PORTABLE HEATERS, OR ANYTHING AROUND YOUR POOL EQUIPMENT TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT OR CAUSE A FIRE.

Watersoft Pool Customers,

Due to the colder temperatures we are aware that you are concerned with the pool and equipment. Here are some tips to get through the next few days.
•Keep pump running at all times, this will prevent your pipes from freezing. This is especially important if you do not have freeze protection. You can manually turn your pool on to run at all hours by putting it in service mode and turning on the filter/pump. If you have a dial timer you can take the on/off trippers completely off and turn the pump on and it will not turn off unless you manually turn it off.
•Your equipment may become louder than normal, typically this is due to the bearings getting cold. It may be annoying but it is not a concern unless the pump stops running.
•We can not replace equipment in these temperatures as it would cause further damage.

Please reach out to Roddy if your pool stops running. We understand this is nerve racking but Roddy and Landon have been out to most pools this week already and have done what they can to ensure the pool and equipment stay functional.

We wanted to touch base with each of my customers during this unprecedented time. Well, we all survived the storm but many of our pool equipments did not. During this time not only our great state of Texas but other states as well were affected. And with that said all people in all states with pools are going after the same pool parts in each state in mass numbers. Therefore there is a shortage on all pool equipment parts. I understand your frustration, I share your frustration just as well and more. All pool companies big or small in each state no matter what size are having trouble getting supplies. I go through one of the largest pool supply distributors. We are all on reserved lists for supplies. So meaning when they get the shipment I am reserved what I have already purchased. And all leading manufacturers do not honor their warranty on their products if it is purchased through a third-party. You have to purchase it through a licensed distributor to achieve their warranty.

Each one of you are my priority to get your pool up and running. I’ve made a list of each of my clients parts that need to be replaced. However, I can order and repair what I see is cracked. But until your system is up and running I will not know if there is further damage. This is the frustrating part. This is out of my hands and I am at the mercy of all manufactures and their time to produce the supplies. I am always reachable to all of you. I will still be coming by to perform weekly service to the best of my ability to keep your pool blue and sanitary in the meantime.

Check out our before and after photos from a recent fiberglass pool remodel. To complete this job we drained the pool, sanded all cracks and sealed them, and then painted the whole pool to create a beautiful "brand new" pool.
