The roofing community is a tight one, when one of us gets hurt, we all feel it. Recently, our close family friend and fellow roofer, Austin Stepp, suffered a devastating fall while on the job. He was rushed to OHSU, where doctors performed emergency brain surgery to relieve swelling and remove a blood clot. Part of his skull had to be removed, and he remains in the ICU with a long road to recovery ahead.
Austin’s fiancée, Samantha, has been by his side through it all, caring for two young children and preparing for the arrival of their new baby this April 2025. This tragedy has left them without their primary source of income and facing significant medical, travel, and living expenses as Austin fights to heal.
Although Austin does not work for our company, he is a valued friend and part of our roofing family, and we want to help rally support for him, Samantha, and their growing family during this unimaginably difficult time.
