Trees

I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

Looking up the chimney flue. The flue is coated with third-degree creosote. We remove this with a poultice that is applied on top of the creosote. The poultice is removed 3-4 days later. Call us to schedule your chimney sweep or chimney repair at 503-583-0766

The top of a chimney "chase." The chase is basically a plywood box built around the chimney piping of a pre-fabricated fireplace chimney system. The "chase cover" has rusted, and will eventually leak. We replace worn chase covers with stainless steel chase covers so that THIS does not happen again.

Chimney rebuilt, using the original brick. We had to use a grinder to clean up the bricks.
