A stylish outdoor firepit we built for a family in Hummelstown. This already gorgeous property now has even more pizzazz with a sleek spot for roasting marshmallows or sharing a few drinks. While we were there, we also replaced cracked stone veneer on the chimney and house and resealed the customer’s chimney cap to prevent future damage. We love a multi-faceted project! A little behind the scenes on a brick mailbox our team built in York. This was one of Emily’s personal favorite projects and she could go on about it for days, so here’s just a few of her remarks:

Aesthetically, I loved the selection of peachy handmade bricks to compliment the pink tones of the customer’s home. Handmades have lovely imperfections, divots, round corners, and finger marks that make this mailbox so unique. Our raked joints reveal these quirks and create a pleasant shadow effect.

Structurally, we built this mailbox to last. Our footer is poured below the frost line and the guts of the mailbox are built with block. Wall ties lock in the brick veneer layer. This baby isn’t going anywhere.

We’re proud to create a final product that our customer loves and will continue to love for years to come.
