National Tradesmen Day 2026 | Q&A Spotlight
Next up is Doug, and he shared the most memorable project he’s worked on.

His standout moment: a week-long switch fire rework that required detailed planning and careful coordination, working through a dozen panels on a pan/sensor service, then seeing it all come together so well in our shift windows.

Doug said that with everything lining up the way it should, the whole job was extremely rewarding.

Thanks for sharing, Doug! We hope this reminds everyone how much skill, teamwork, and patience go into the trades.

Today, we’re celebrating Dave, one of our valued employee-owners, as he begins a well-deserved retirement after an incredible 42 years with the company!

For more than four decades, Dave has brought dedication, knowledge, hard work, and commitment to the team. His impact goes far beyond the projects he’s helped complete — he’s been an important part of our company’s history and has helped shape the people and culture around him.

A new school year is here, and we’re excited to welcome our IEC Pennsylvania students back to the classroom!

Our employee-owner apprentices represent what 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦, 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭, 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 look like in action. Balancing classroom learning with hands-on experience in the field takes commitment, perseverance, and a willingness to keep learning.
