Buyer beware.
I purchased a brand-new stump grinder expecting reliability and support. After only 75 hours of use, the engine locked up. Instead of standing behind the equipment and helping resolve the issue, I was informed that the warranty would not cover the failure.
When you spend tens of thousands of dollars on new equipment, you expect it to last longer than a few dozen hours and you expect the manufacturer to stand behind their product when something goes wrong.
This experience has been extremely disappointing and has resulted in lost work, unhappy customers, and downtime that no small business owner can afford.
I work hard for my money and depend on my equipment every day. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering a major equipment purchase to thoroughly research warranty coverage, dealer support, and customer service before making a decision.
Small businesses deserve better.
