The best time to run your garbage disposal is during the first drain of the wash cycle of your dishwasher.
(you think what's the chances of me being by the sink the first drain of the dishwasher wash cycle----you'll be surprised how much it happens once you are listening for it.

The active brand makes a good dishwasher and disposal cleaning tablet as another option.

This customer reached out to me on a burning smell on his electric dryer.
I instructed him the dryer is not safe to use.

If your dryer is over 4 years old and never been serviced.
It's possible your dryer is in the same condition.
No matter how much you clean the lint screen the lint is going to seep past the drum felt and screen it will end up in the bottom of your dryer.

Please don't be the it's not going to happen to me person..

Ask any Fire Fighter you know how many calls they get on dryer fires.

Please take dryer MAINTENANCE and vent cleanings seriously this dryer was smoldering..
A little more air movement and this dryer would've been up in flames .

We had a large amount of vacuum cleaners dropped off this week for service.

General maintenance on upright and canister Vacuum cleaners start at $35 carpet cleaners start at $45.
I Completely tear down and clean all moving parts,clean all filters,thoroughly inspected and test equipment before release.

I don't replace any parts until we get approval from the owner.
