Black Walnut Failure
Too many walnuts coupled with bark inclusion made this tree fail. Last two leads were splitting and one of the leads were headed for the house.

Walnuts & Apple trees can have a tendency to fail due too much fruit. Trimming or Removing the fruit can help prevent this.

We worked with the Town of Chelsea removing a Large Basswood that could hurt the road/shoulder if dropped from the ground.

Some people ask “How old you think this tree is?”

On this job we were told her Dad planted this tree when he was 16 and he would’ve been 99 this year.
Willow tree was 83yrs old!

Next is a Black Cherry we cut down at the Kuse Preserve on Allman Ave. DBH was 27” putting the tree roughly at 120yrs old.

Size difference in species is always something to look at!

This isn’t our first rodeo.

Another ice storm rolled through our area. Not as big as December 2022 — but enough to create hazards. Ice changes everything. Limbs can weigh double or more. Iced trees are unpredictable and life-threatening for homeowners and anyone working around them.
