A sight that’s unfortunately all too common. Site prep is key regardless if it’s an outdoor or an indoor. The ground water outside is running down and under the walls. A simple issue to fix when doing the site work. It’s advised, when building an indoor it never hurts to consult with companies who build arenas themselves. Easier to do before the barn becomes an obstacle for machines.

Just because it’s a drylot doesn’t mean precision gets sacrificed. That’s within 1/4” at 1% fall away from the building on the sub base and 1st stone base layer. The #10 will be less then that. The stall bases are also incorporated into this as they’ll have doors cut into this drylot. No matter what happens water is staying out of the stalls and all water is moving across that lot at a controlled slope rate. It’s the little things that make the difference and knowing how to do it brings the quality and precision all together for a perfect job.

Excited to be bringing these back to life. These will be arenas 16-17 on the year with 4 more in the pipeline before years end. These will get base evaluations and amendments if needed, full laser grading and resurface specific to the customers riding discipline. The drylot is almost ready for the base layers to get started and get wrapped up for the next contractor. Also fixing up a few stall bases.

When it comes to arenas we’ve got it covered from expert level installation, design/planning, consulting and footing design to full line of GGT products and more. Every arena starts with a plan and end goal. Regardless of the budget theres always something we can offer to get the best possible outcome.

To say it was a busy week would be an understatement. 3 jobs in 2 counties, 5 different county depts involved. Thanks to TH&M Land Solutions for coming in and handling the mowing around the barn and knocking out those hills. Thanks to Area Delivery for hauling in the material for the stalls and apron so we can get the big trucks started. Alot of work to be done but that’ll be mondays problem. Happy weekend.
