It was a true honor to collaborate with on the window replication of the Morgan-Manning House, a landmark rich in agricultural and historical significance. After a devastating fire destroyed the four cupola windows, this project became an opportunity to help preserve a meaningful piece of local history.

The work required a deep respect for the buildings original craftsmanship, combining traditional techniques with precise attention to detail to ensure historical accuracy. Every element from portions to materials was thoughtfully executed to match the original design while preserving the integrity of the house.

Contributing to the preservation of such an important piece of Brockport’s heritage was both a privilege and a rewarding experience, helping ensure that Morgan-Manning House continues to be appreciated for generations to come.

Training employees in First Aid/CPR and Life-Threatening Bleeding Control is extremely important for a small business because emergencies can happen anywhere, even in a workplace that seems low risk. When staff know how to respond quickly and correctly, they can protect lives, reduce the severity of injuries, and create a safer environment for everyone.

From 3M PAPR respirators, Tyvek coveralls and Magid Griffin cut-resistant gloves to Grainger fiberglass molded grating and Aerospace America negative air machines, we use top-quality equipment to ensure every project is handled with care. Our team follows strict protocols to safely manage lead and guarantee it is properly disposed of, protecting both people and the environment.

When you own an 1800’s building in an historic village, you become a steward of that building, maintaining its integrity for the next generations. It’s a burden and a joy. But we believe in holding tight to tradition…the way things used to be made when we took pride in constructing things that last. These windows were replaced about 80 years ago, and it’s time for them to get restored. Tallis Historic Restoration is going to get the job done and we are so happy to share the experience with you . .

We are excited to share that our storm window installation is officially underway at Stonehurst in Medina, New York.

✔️32 out of 45 storms complete on the main house

✔️Only 2 more to go on the carriage house

After that, our crew will move on to basement and attic storm windows.

Fingers crossed that there will be sunshine and blues skies again next week! 🤞🏼
