🎒 Pack with a Purpose | Partner Spotlight 💛

Helping a child doesn’t have to put them in the spotlight. For Connor and Riane Tynan of Tynan Construction & Consulting (TCC), protecting a child’s dignity is part of caring for them. 💛

Connor and Riane shared why they chose to participate:

“Partnering with Pack with Purpose allows us to help local children in need discreetly, protecting their privacy and dignity. It’s a meaningful way to provide support without drawing attention to their circumstances among their peers. We believe building a strong community starts in schools and setting them up for success in the smallest ways can have the biggest impacts.”

They also shared more about Tynan Construction & Consulting:

“Tynan Construction & Consulting (known as TCC) provides custom construction backed by nearly 30 years of experience in project planning, construction management, and skilled craftsmanship. From Home Additions and ADUs to Shops, Garage Additions, and Specialty Projects, we bring your vision to life with careful coordination and attention to detail. TCC | Turning Concepts into Construction.”

Connor and Riane donated lotion, hair ties, and toothbrushes for Pack with a Purpose, helping provide everyday essentials for local students and families!

🎒 Pack with a Purpose | Partner Spotlight 💛

Taylor is building a new business, and compassion already has a place in it.

Through Gray Theory Creatives, she chose to be part of Pack with a Purpose as a reminder that you don’t have to be a big business to make a difference. 💛

Taylor shared why she chose to participate:

“No one should be without food, especially because of a fear of judgement. My new business may be itty bitty but that doesn’t diminish my own purpose to show compassion to those in different circumstances than myself.”

She also shared what Gray Theory Creatives offers:

“Gray Theory Creatives is a one-stop-shop, supporting REALTOR® Associations, agents, and industry affiliates who need clear communication, consistent branding, and organized marketing materials. From social media graphics and newsletters to event marketing and education materials, your project is designed to make information easier to understand and easier to share.”

Taylor donated an abundance of non-perishable food items, including applesauce, snacks, and pasta cups, for the Pack with a Purpose backpacks, helping fill them with useful everyday essentials for local students and families.

Pack with a Purpose 🎒💛
You may have heard us share a little about Pack with a Purpose recently, but we wanted to officially share what it is and what we hope it becomes!
Pack with a Purpose is a Hilltop Roofing initiative created to bring local businesses and neighbors together to quietly support kids and families right here in our community.
For our very first round, we partnered with Community Schools in the West Ada School District, and our first 6 backpacks are officially filled! 🎉 Each one is packed with everyday essentials, clothing, personal care items, nonperishable foods and more.
And we’re just getting started.
Our hope is to continue growing Pack with a Purpose, filling more backpacks, supporting more local kids and families, and bringing even more local businesses together to make it possible.
This upcoming week, we get to introduce you to the incredible businesses and people who helped fill these first six backpacks! Each day, we’ll share a little about who they are and why they chose to get involved. 💛
It has been pretty amazing to see our community come together like this. The heart behind Pack with a Purpose is simple: quietly meet a need, protect the dignity of the families receiving the help, and remind local kids that their community is cheering them on.
We can’t wait to see where this goes. 🎒
Local Kids, Brighter Tomorrows!!!

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
Colossians 3:23 (ESV)
So much of life is made up of things no one else sees.
The extra effort.
The quiet obedience.
The decision to do what is right when no one is watching.
The ordinary work that may never receive recognition.
Colossians 3:23 reminds us that our work does not need to be noticed by people to have purpose.
When we remember who we are ultimately serving, even the small and ordinary things can become an act of worship.
We do not have to work for applause, approval, or recognition. We can simply be faithful with what God has placed in front of us and trust that He sees it all.
This week, may we do the small things well, serve with a willing heart, and remember who we are doing it for. 🤍
Happy Faithful Friday!

Most homeowners notice the roof. But do you notice the flashing? 👀
Flashing is one of those small details that plays a big role in how a roofing system performs.
It’s installed around areas where the roof meets another surface, like chimneys, walls, vents, and other transitions. Its job is to help direct water away from some of the most vulnerable parts of the roof.
This Idaho City project is a great example. Where the metal roof meets the stone chimney, that transition needs careful attention to help keep water moving where it belongs.
The next time you look at a roof, don’t just look at the roofing material itself. Look at the places where different parts of the home meet.
Those details matter.
