Spring is here!! I hope. It’s time to fix potholes in your driveway. Give me a chance to help with this task. Reasonable rates by an operator with over 30 years of experience operating equipment.

There are many tasks I can help with. From grading projects to trail mowing and some smaller land clearing.

Also I draw landscape plans. I can measure your home and put together a landscape design for some direction to your DIY landscape project.

Or have you thought of pavers for a patio or sidewalk? I can install that too. There are many advantages of pavers in this climate.

We added a grade plane to the list of skid steer attachments we own. This is a great tool to help fix potholes in driveways after spring thaw. Or to finish grade your yard before seeding. Get a hold of us if you need help with this sort of work. I would be happy to see what I can do to help.

Besides skid steer work and land improvements, I can also help with smaller landscape projects, landscape design, and paver installation.

It is cold, snowy, and the middle of winter. But it is not too early to talk about spring projects. I am available to help with grading projects from tree removal or well drilling or whatever else may have happened over the winter where land repair is needed.

I offer grading services, light excavation, smaller land clearing for food plots or trails, brush mowing, some cleanup type work with a grapple, driveway work, and other types of skid steer work. Let me know what you may need help with come spring with an email, and I will make a time to check out your project.

Also I can help with a landscape design and small landscape jobs. If you are a handy person wanting to take on your own landscape job this spring or summer, but need help with a plan I can do that too. With over 20 years in the landscape industry, I have the experience to coach you through your project while you do the installation with the help of a one of a kind design hand drawn for your home. I can also do some projects besides coaching homeowners, but time is limited for full landscapes.

I am sure many people are thinking of a project and have just not started contacting people to help complete it because their timeframe is next summer. Yup. Looks like dirt.

This customer wanted to install a multi level loading dock to accomodate semi trailers, deck over equipment trailers, and pickup trucks.

First we had to break up and remove an old concrete and stone foundation from an old chicken coop. (Wish I would have had a pic of this to start) Next we moved a little over 200 cubic yards of material in a few evenings while subgrading the ground to leave room for a gravel driveway. While we did that, we peeled off and spread the topsoil on an existing garden so that it went to the best use and wasn’t mixed in with the sandy loam soil underneath. Some of the spoil pile was used to backfill the wall built for the dock. A swale was cut with tight grades so water does not sit by the dock. Once the soil was moved, it was graded so that it can be seeded down. And finally 5 quad axle loads of gravel were spread to make the driveway to the dock. This is a good project complete.

The customer had a plan and we helped him see it. Get a hold of us for land improvement needs.

I want to thank G&S Equipment from Black River Falls. I was able to demo a new Wacker Neuson ST 31 compact track loader on a project for the City of Black River Falls and The Jackson County Little League. G&S Equipment also hooked me up with a rental Wacker Neuson plate compactor for rhe project. Check out this locally owned company for rental equipment. They are also a Wacker Neuson dealer for new equipment sales. That ST 31 is for sale and it was a joy to use. Great machine. If you are in the market for a new machine give G&S Equipment a call and check out what they have to offer. Thanks again.
