Building a strong boardwalk starts long before the first section goes down. 💪

We’ve been installing helical piers along this boardwalk project to create a solid, stable foundation for the structure above. Each pier is driven to the proper depth to reach load-bearing soil, giving the supports something dependable to sit on and helping prevent the boardwalk from settling or shifting over time.

Once our work underneath is complete, construction can continue above knowing there’s a strong foundation in place.

Before, during annd after on this concrete wall repair 👇 It’s still drying but the original wall had major concrete deterioration with sections chipping away and falling apart, creating a safety hazard and exposing the rebar underneath.

Our crew came in, removed the damaged concrete, replaced any rebar that needed attention, and rebuilt the concrete wall back solid and secure. Repairs like this are important not only for the appearance of the structure, but for the safety and longevity of it as well.

On existing foundations like this, we drive the pier down until we hit solid, load-bearing soil, that we've worked with engineers to determine. From there, we tie it back into the structure and carefully lift to bring everything back to level. Once it’s set, that pier is locked in place, giving the building long-term stability and stopping further settling!
It’s a simple concept, but it takes the right process to get it done right. Solid foundation below = stability above.

This one’s a big project 💪 Over a mile-long boardwalk going through a state park - built for people to walk and bike above the ground, especially through this swampy terrain.

Our part is making sure it has a foundation that won’t fail. We installed helical piers along the entire stretch, driving them deep into stable soil so when the supports go in, the boardwalk stays level, solid, and doesn’t settle over time.

In ground like this, you can’t take shortcuts. We work closely with engineers to determine the exact depth and placement of each pier, making sure everything is built on a foundation you can trust.
