Bolivian Coffeewood, or Momoqui, is about as hard as it gets. It’s 3600 Janka hardness, smells delicious, and makes unbelievable cutting board material, or really anything. For instance, Dave, our cat, really loves his bougie cat-tree boxes made from it! It’s awesome wood, and $12.00 a board foot, S2S in both 4/4 and 8/4.

Man, it was a whirlwind 2 weeks working non-stop banging out projects, and this one was the grand finale before Sara and I set out to Michigan for 2 weeks. These pieces all went to the soon-to-be-opened Baaloo Coffee Roasters in Bartlett. The conference-room table is book-matched Parota slabs, 12’x48”. The bar-tops are Araracanga with custom-welded and powdercoated legs, also done in-house. Rounding it off is the killer condiment / cabinet topper with a mad assist in the engraving by our friend John Maness. We’re about 75% done on this shop’s build, with more to come - but when Baaloo does open, be sure to give them a visit. Great people and their coffee is amazing.

It’s been a busy 2 weeks. Who said Red Oak can’t look 🔥🔥🔥?? And by that I don’t mean firewood! This wood was brought to us by the customer with sentimental value from their family farm. They were also 3” thick boards that weighed about as much as a house. Much thanks to my good friend Arnaud Jeanvoine for lending a hand on this one. She’s finished in Rubio Monocoat Cocoa finish, with custom legs and cross board. The customers waited nearly a year for this but it was worth it!

Tigerwood! We've got a few killer Tigerwood slabs from Costa Rica. These guys have already been surfaced and sanded to 120 grit, and already epoxied. Literally, the hard work is DONE. They are downright killer. In the market, most Tigerwood usually becomes dimensional lumber. I have never had my hands on slabs before. They are DENSE. Like, Sherman Tank heavy. They are all priced at $400.00 a slab. Take whichever ones you want.

Araraconga (or Amarguillo in Costa Rica) is wild! We got these slabs from Costa Rica and they are stunners! These are going in a new coffee shop being built in Bartlett, Baaloo Coffee Roasters. This will be a high-top bar with custom powdercoated H legs crafted in-house. We’re stoked to be styling up the place with awesome wood from around the world.
