🔬Brayden Locke Promoted to Senior QC Technician
Brayden has quickly become a trusted resource for the team, known for his technical knowledge, leadership, and commitment to continuous improvement. From mastering QC operations to helping train new hires, he continues to raise the bar for those around him.

“Brayden is proactive about developing his skills, open to feedback, and always looking for ways to do things better. Brayden is self-motivated and does everything with a positive, can-do attitude,” Inbound Materials Manager Pitt Kimbrough shared.

🔬Wayne Bishop Promoted to Senior QC Technician
With years of experience and a steady leadership presence, Wayne plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly while mentoring others along the way. He leads with both expertise and respect, strengthening the entire team.

“Wayne is a very good teacher for our team and backs up that knowledge with his certifications. His experience and expertise are essential to us, and we are lucky to have him,” VP Don Fletcher shared.

🔬Donald Pike Promoted to Senior QC Technician
Donald’s reliability and team-first mindset make him someone others can count on day or night. He continues to grow in his role, stepping in wherever needed and keeping safety and improvement at the forefront.

“The first thing that comes to mind about Donald is our core value of safety. He is always willing to speak up when challenges arise,” Director of QC Cory Collins shared.

🔬Hayden-Lamar Johnson Promoted to QC Technician III
Hayden brings energy, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn to everything he does. Whether earning his Level 3 certification or stepping in to support plant operations, he consistently goes above and beyond and continues to grow into a key contributor.

“Hayden has really grown into this role. Behind his well-known lighthearted personality, he is super intelligent, and I count on him to handle Plant 10,” QC Manager Johnny Houston shared.

Big congratulations to Julio Rios on his promotion to Asphalt Plant 10 Foreman in Byhalia, Mississippi! 🤩 Over the past four years, Julio has grown into this role, starting as a groundman and earning more responsibility along the way. Known for his willingness to learn, steady work ethic, and commitment to doing things the right way, Julio leads with integrity and keeps safety at the forefront for both himself and his team.

“Julio demonstrates our core value of integrity and has a long runway ahead of him in his career,” shared Don Fletcher, VP of Manufacturing and Quality Control. “He is always learning, always willing, and is truly respected across our team.” Blake Kimbrough, Superintendent, added, “His work ethic and ability to lead his team effectively make him a great fit for Plant 10 Foreman. Enrique “Ricky” Villegas is a great example of what that looks like in action in his role as an Equipment Operator!

Ricky has been part of the team for about two years, and in that time, he has built a reputation for stepping up, staying engaged, and continually growing his skill set. Whether he’s operating the roller or working the screed on a paver, he approaches each responsibility with focus and confidence.

We’re proud to recognize Crystal Murry as she celebrates an incredible 20 years with our team! 🤩 In her role in traffic control, Crystal is often the first face people see on a job site, and she makes a lasting impression with her bright spirit and warm smile. She represents our team well, not only by keeping traffic flowing safely, but by stepping in wherever she’s needed. Whether she’s flagging or helping around the paver, Crystal is always willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done and support her teammates.

As Hunter Franklin, Foreman, shared, “Crystal takes pride in being the first line of defense in the work zone, staying focused on safety and helping protect her team every day. She's great with the team and doesn’t meet a stranger. She’s always welcoming to everyone.” That same energy shows up in the way Crystal supports those around her, offering encouragement, advice, and steady morale when it matters most. We are grateful for Crystal’s 20 years of dedication and the positive impact she continues to make on every job site she’s part of.
