Full roof replacement going on out in Bolivar today. We’re in the tear-off process and already uncovering hidden issues underneath the shingles.

We found multiple areas of damaged wood during tear-off, and we’ll be getting those areas replaced here shortly before moving forward with installation. A good roof starts with making sure the structure underneath is solid.

⬇️ Another Chimney Leak taken care of 🚨

Customer called because water was getting around the fireplace area. After inspection, we found the previous install had shingles ran directly against the stone and relied mainly on sealant instead of proper flashing. Over time the seal failed and water got behind the chimney.

Unfortunately, it had already caused damage to the surrounding roof decking — and the roof itself is only around 6–7 years old.

To correct it properly, we removed all damaged wood surrounding the chimney, installed new decking where needed, added leak barrier protection, installed new step flashing, replaced surrounding shingles, and finished it off with proper counter flashing around the chimney.

No shortcuts. No covering it up. Just fixing it the right way so the homeowner doesn’t have the same problem again.

Roof inspections aren’t always BAD NEWS

Out in Whiteville, TN this Saturday morning taking a look at this roof. At first glance, these missing tabs may look concerning, but after inspection this was not wind or storm damage — they appear to have simply been missed during the original installation.

The good news? This roof is still in good overall condition and has years of life left. No need to replace what still has life in it — just make the proper repairs and keep it maintained.

Sometimes all you need is an honest inspection.

Big transformation underway on this one 🔥

This project turned into a complete restoration — not just a roof replacement. We’ve already removed and canceled out 2 old chimneys, eliminated 3 dormers, and replaced a large amount of damaged roof decking to bring this home back to a solid foundation before installing the new roofing system.

Projects like this take planning, experience, and attention to detail to make sure everything underneath is rebuilt properly before the final roof goes on. The goal is to restore the home correctly and give it a system built to last.
