June is National Safety Month, and at Nickson General, safety is one of our core values.

Without safe work spaces, not only would our workers be in danger, but the communities around our work spaces wouldn't be safe either. We're community driven first and foremost and we will not compromise the safety of our work force or our neighborhood communities. Our builds are trustworthy, done with care, responsible, and safely made.

The last week of Building Safety Month, Communities Without Limits, is all about accessibility. A community is built by supporting all of its members. We want to reflect this in our work.

River City Park was constructed with functionality, fun, and accessibility in mind. Thoughtful builds are constructed with intention. Designers and builders work together to create experiences that everyone can enjoy. Nickson General is proud to be apart of this.

Nickson General is proud to have worked on the reconstruction of Cossitt Library, a build supported by the architectural design of Pickering Firm, Inc.

Our community includes teams of designers, contractors, architects, and other building professionals that work to create safe, well crafted, pleasing spaces for every single person who uses them. We are committed to great builds and are glad to work with those who have the same goals.

Week 3 of Building Safety Month, "Prepared to Protect," is all about disaster-resilient building codes protect people and property. Builds that are up to standard in every way. Nickson General doesn't make things that you can't rely on.

Memphis City Hall was constructed under these standards. An important structure of our community has to be resilient and reliable. Strong, safe, and up to code. We don't do anything less.

For week 2 of building safety month, we're focusing on the theme Voices of the Built Environment. Our build with the Teen Tech Center was created thoughtfully and with its future community in mind. Nickson General does work that is reliable and people forward.

Building Safety month is a time dedicated to quality construction and safe building practices. This year’s theme, “Built to Last,” represents a core value that we bring into each project for our communities.
