GOING TO THE MOON! Artemis ll has officially made lift off.

This is our first trip to the moon since 1972.

The crew will travel in a figure-eight trajectory, looping out from Earth, around the Moon, and back again.

Approximately 685,000 miles.

Love this, space is so cool. Praying for safety over our brave astronauts making this trip.

Godspeed ladies and gentlemen! 🇺🇸

Roofing Force March Employee Spotlight: Preston Golden

At Roofing Force, our team is made up of people who genuinely care about the communities they serve, and Preston Golden is a great example of that.

Preston works primarily in the Northwest Arkansas area & he has been with Roofing Force for two years. He says his biggest motivation comes from being a father. He says his child is what drives him to work hard every day and push for success, all with the goal of building a bright future for them.

What Preston enjoys most about his work is the opportunity to help people when they need it most. Whether it is assisting homeowners after storm damage or guiding someone through the roofing process, he takes pride in being someone people can count on.

When he is not helping customers or out on a roof, Preston enjoys riding dirt bikes and staying active in the gym.

It’s going to be a NOISY night for some of us, storms are likely.

Below is what the radar might look like tonight between 11 PM to 1 AM.

The storms moving into western Arkansas could be strong.

As I mentioned this morning, there is a low risk for tornadoes, hail and strong wind gusts.

Heavy rain is likely and plenty of lightning.

Remember, this system will transition through the state overnight and into the eastern/southern half of Arkansas tomorrow.

Our team will be up all night monitoring the TAMKO radar for you.

😱🥶 Stay safe out there!!!

We’re about to get walloped by a big ‘ole winter storm Arkansas.

Wanted to have something up for you guys when you started your day and below are just some morning thoughts.

-This will be an upper echelon winter storm. The amount of moisture, duration and expansive coverage is CRAZY.

Y’all stop asking if it’s really going to do something, lol. I promise I’m not pranking you.

-This storm arrives Friday evening and lasts all night, all day Saturday, most if not all night Saturday and into Sunday morning.

This would be a big deal if it was just rain, but this is going to be mostly frozen precipitation (snow, sleet, freezing rain).

-Northern half of Arkansas gets a big snow, central gets a sleet/ice combo and south Arkansas is mostly freezing rain.

We will have an updated total forecast around lunch again today.

-The drive home message is this will be IMPACTFUL no matter the precipitation type. Roadways impacted, businesses closed, schools closed early next week, etc.

-South Arkansas residents have one full day left for ice storm prep, don’t wait on this. It’s going to be VERY cold during and after the storm.

-Life threatening cold will occur during and just after the storm. Below zero temperatures will be possible.

That includes wind chills well below zero, especially over areas with heavy snowpack.

-Winter storm warnings (and some ice storm warnings for south Arkansas) are likely coming today for the state, be sure to have the Arkansas Weather Network app. It will alert you to that and more.

-I know y’all are tired of hearing about this, I’m tired of talking about it. One more day of nothing before it is here.
