This is why I love what I do. ⚡️
After a 10-hour day, I had two service calls to run to. My last call of the night was for a homeowner who had been dealing with flickering lights, power fluctuations, and other electrical issues for about a week.
After starting the troubleshooting process, I knew there was a problem somewhere in the main electrical system. The challenge was finding exactly where the failure was.
While I was digging into it, the homeowner mentioned that another electrician had been there earlier that day and recommended replacing the entire electrical service on the house because they didn’t know what was wrong. Turning it into a job that was going to cost nearly $10,000.
So I kept troubleshooting to pin point the issue.
After checking every connection, I found the failed connection that was causing all of the problems. A $60 part later, the problem was fixed and the homeowner was back up and running with everything working properly.
Nearly $10,000 vs. a small repair.
This is why proper troubleshooting matters.
We believe in fixing the problem—not automatically replacing everything around it. Sometimes the right answer is a major repair, and sometimes it’s a $60 part. Our job is to figure out which one it actually is.
After a 12-hour day, seeing the look of relief on a homeowner’s face and knowing you solved a problem that had been stressing them out all week…
That’s what puts a smile on my face.
