We have an engineered design for using helical piles for grade beam systems for foundations. We have been doing this for sunrooms for the last two years. The cost is less than half the price for a conventional 4' foundation. This works because of the geo foam that is used to support the concrete durning the pour, but cushions/compresses if there is frost lift. This can be used for outside structures that need the frost foundation, but is more economical to install and less time and disturbance. The material is manufactured in Canada.

Goliathtech Helical Piles were used to replace failing concrete footings under a deck that had heaved and created an unsafe structural support situation. The water around the piles in the holes destroyed the concrete. There is a swamp, (Wetlands) 75 feet away, and the grade is pretty flat.
There were 7 footings replaced with Goliathtech helical piles. The deck was re-leveled and a new stone paver patio installed with drainage tiles.
