Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Big Sky Country Bar & Grill in Germantown, I would like to invite you to the 1st Annual BSC Charity Golf Outing benefiting Stars & Stripes Honor Flight on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
This year’s event will be held at the Blackstone Creek Golf Club located at N112W17300 Mequon Rd., Germantown, WI 53022. The golf outing is a fun, and great way to honor those who served our country during World War II, Korea, and Vietnam by supporting the Mission of Stars & Stripes Honor Flight.
“Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, Inc. was started in 2008 by Joe Dean after Dean had seen a brief national news segment on the National Honor Flight Network. He was inspired to bring this program to Southeastern Wisconsin. Within days, the wheels were in motion.
The goal is to provide a life-changing trip to any veteran, at no cost to them, who wants to go to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials & monuments constructed to honor them.
The Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, Inc. story was told one person, one small group at a time, and grew from tiny fundraisers to partnerships with many local businesses, organizations, and individuals, who have all stepped forward to ensure that our WWII, Korean and Vietnam War veterans feel appreciated.”

The BSC Charity Golf Outing intends to bring customers, members of surrounding communities and people from throughout Wisconsin together for a relaxed, enjoyable, extra fun day that celebrates, honors & gives thanks to our country’s veterans. Individual contributions have been the cornerstone of the effort that is Stars & Stripes Honor Flight, however; please consider sponsoring the golf outing as a Corporate, Hole, or Cart sponsor. Additionally, we will have raffles, 50-50 drawings, hole prizes, and giveaways for golfers of all abilities.

What's your go to food at Wisconsin State Fair? Something OAS, the Krispy Kreme burger, cream puffs?? The Unicorn Tw***ie is quite scrumptious...deep fried and OAS, cotton candy flavored and just yummy!!
